Premier Glass Tinting offers many premium window films, all of which will block 99% of the sun’s harmful UV light. The films come in many light densities from a virtually clear 70% to the darkest 5% to help with glare. Colors range from a neutral blue/gray to a warm bronze. All of the window film we use is backed by a comprehensive manufacturers warranty.
Both financially and emotionally, you’ve made a tremendous investment in your home or office. Once that investment is made, the next step is keeping it looking beautiful. Unfortunately, fabrics, wallpaper, natural wood floors, photos, and other valuables will fade when unfiltered sun shines through your windows.
Fading is caused by the following:
- Ultraviolet (UV) light is the primary cause of fabric and furniture fade. All of our window films block up to 99.9% of UV light.
- Not only does UV light contribute to fabric fade, but so do visible light (25%) and heat from the sun (25%). Our window films help block out visible light and heat to minimize your fabric fade.
- “Other” (10%) refers to variables that are beyond your control – such as the color or material of your furnishings. Simply put, some fabrics and materials maintain their color longer than others.
The Sun May Severely Damage Your Furniture
The image to the left shows the negative effects the sun can have on your furniture. Having window film installed on your windows will drastically reduce the amount of fading and keep your furniture looking great for years to come.
